Dr Sharad Sharma is a Consultant Surgeon practicing in the city of
Navi
Mumbai since 1994. He joined the MGM, Medical College, Kamothe , Navi
Mumbai in 1994 and subsequently became an Associate Professor in the
Department of General Surgery. He is a University recogonized
postgraduate He started specializing in Laparoscopic surgery from 1998.
He acquired the Diploma in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery from Gem
Hospital, Coimbatore under the guidance of Dr C Palanivelu. He has been
performing various advanced laparoscopic surgeries since then. In 2009
he passed the Basic course in Essentials of Bariatric Surgery at the
ASMBS annual meeting in Dallas. He also underwent a mini fellowship in
Bariatric Surgery at The Cleveland Clinic, Ohio under the guidance of
Dr Philip Schauer, Director Department of Bariatric & Metabolic
Surgery, Cleveland Clinic.
